Reduces Risk of Heart Attacks
Studies have revealed moderate drinkers who have high blood pressure are 30 percent less likely to suffer a heart attack than individuals who don’t drink at all. This study was completed over a 16-year period on 11,711 men and was published in the Annals of Internal Medicine in 2007 by Harvard School of Public Health.

A study published in Gastroenterology in 2005 completed by Stony Brook University studied 2,291 individuals over 4-years and found that those who drank wine (particularly red wine) lowered their chances of developing the disease by up to 45 percent.
